Jon Underwood

Jon Underwood brings over 35 years of experience in the insurance and construction industries, specializing in property claims handling and large-loss management. Since beginning his career in 1990, he has held roles in underwriting, property adjusting, fraud investigations, and claims management, and as an Executive General Adjuster has managed complex commercial claims nationwide. His work spans major catastrophes including the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, Hurricanes Andrew, Katrina, and Harvey, and California’s Woolsey Fire. Recognized for his technical expertise and leadership, Jon has driven process improvements, advanced organizational effectiveness, and presented on key industry topics such as coverage analysis, code compliance, customer service, and the appraisal process.
